Arrival and check-in. Lecco – Laorca

Hi! If you are reading this post, you have already booked our apartment in Lecco, Piazza Sant’Antonio 1. On this page, you will find some info for your arrival and stay.

Arrival by public transport

Lecco is easily reachable by public transport both from surrounding cities and airports. You can check more info about public transport in this post. The apartment is located in 3 km from the Lecco train station, so it is reachable on foot in 30-40 minutes, but note that the apartment is uphill. The elevation change in respect to the lake level is about 150m.

Luckily there is bus connection. You can also take a bus n.1 or D35 from the Lecco train station to the bus stop “Lecco – Malavedo” You can buy the tickets in a small newspaper kiosk at the exit from the train station tunnel. To check the bus schedule, we recommend you use Moovit App, which shows the precise schedule and bus stops. Somehow Google maps do not show all the buses in the area… The buses go each 15-30 minutes from 5.30am to 10pm. The service in limited on Sundays and festive days. Youcan also take a taxi from Lecco train station.

Arrival by car

The house is located in a mountain area in a typical old nucleo of houses, so parking is not easy there. You can arrive at the entrance door by car to unload your bags, and if you do not find parking places nearby, you can follow the street in the video below to park behind the church nearby. You will need to exit to the main street and enter another street where a pharmacy is located. Follow it until the end and you will see there is a free parking garage, it has also an underground level. From there there is a pedestrian path to get back to the apartment.

Self check-in

We always aim to meet our guests personally. In case if for some reason, we can’t meet you (for example, if you arrive very late or there is some emergency), here you will find video instructions for the self checkin:

Note there is tourist tax to be paid in Lecco. We will send you a check-in form that will allow you to easily pay it.
